Dr. Starling Evins is well respected throughout the medical industry for his considerable knowledge and expertise in all types of urological disorders and their latest treatment methods

Dr. Evins specializes in the implantation of the Interstim Neuromodulation Device in patients with painful bladder syndromes and radioactive seed implants in the treatment of prostate cancer. He has served as The Chief of Staff of Williams Medical Center since 1996.

Dr. Evins joined Franklin Urological Associates in 1978. A native of Somerset, Kentucky, he earned his undergraduate degree from Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina. He then attended University of Kentucky Medical School, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, the national honor society for medical scholars. After earning his medical degree, Dr. Evins completed residencies in general surgery and urology at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Dr. Evins currently serves as chief of staff at Williamson County Hospital, a position he was elected to in 1996. In addition to his responsibilities to the hospital, he dedicates a substantial amount of time to representing the urological and medical communities of Tennessee.

He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He served as a general surgeon in the United States Air Force and has numerous publications and presentations to his credit.

Dr. Evins is a member of numerous professional organizations, including serving as a delegate to the Tennessee Medical Association, and a representative to the Southeastern section of the American Urological Association. He also serves Tennessee as a delegate to the American Association of Clinical Urologists. He is a member of the Tennessee Urological Association, serving as its president from 1991 to 1994.
