Dr.
Tissot joined Franklin Urological Associates in
2006. He is from Canton, Ohio and earned his
undergraduate degree in chemistry and biochemistry
from the University of Michigan. He then attended
the Medical College of Ohio, where he was inducted
into the national honor society for medical
students, Alpha Omega Alpha, and graduated at the
top of his class. Dr. Tissot finished both his
general surgery and urology residencies at William
Beaumont Hospital near Detroit, Michigan.
He
treats all urological conditions including kidney
stones, infertility, urological cancers, erectile
dysfunction, and enlarged prostates. He has a
special interest in female urology, including
urinary incontinence, urinary tract infections,
pelvic pain and pelvic organ prolapse ("dropped
bladders"). Dr. Tissot performs minimally invasive,
robotic and laparoscopic surgery for many urological
conditions.
Dr.
Tissot is
certified by the
American Board of Urology and a Fellow of the
American College of Surgeons. He has published many
scientific articles and book chapters contributing
to the field of urology.
Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his
family, camping, and golf.
